Far from the normal picture of a saint she was foul-mouthed, free-spirited and drank her way through Prohibition. But in her own very quiet way she became a local hero.

Meanwhile, all you teens will be happy to hear that Netflix has started casting for their TV series adaptation of Jay Asher's bestseller 13 REASONS WHY! To be produced by Selena Gomez it will star Kate Walsh opposite Dylan Minnette, Derek Luke and Katherine Langford! The 13 episode series follows a boy named Clay (Dylan Minnette) through an emotional night when he receives a shoe box of cassette tapes from his late classmate and crush Hannah (KatherineLangford), after she recently committed suicide. On the tapes, which are mailed with instructions to pass along from one student to another, Hannah explains to 12 peers how they each played a role in her death, by giving 13 reasons explaining why she took her life. Walsh will be Hannah’s mom with Luke as Hannah’s guidance counsellor.
