Speaking of science fiction, MGM TV has optioned the rights on  Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff'sAURORA RISING YA novel, published last month, in order to turn it into a TV series. Set in the year 2380, AURORA RISING follows Ty Jones, the top cadet of the Aurora Academy, and his unwanted squad of misfits and losers as they slowly realize that the girl they rescued from hundreds of years of cryo-sleep may be the catalyst for a war millions of years in the making. The book, the first part of an envisioned saga, has been sold for translation in more than ten countries around the world already after being released in the United States this May.
