Timothy Spall has a busy schedule this Autumn |
This sounds like a beautiful story: one of Britain's biggest living thespians
Timothy Spall is set to lead
THE LAST BUS movie directed by
Gillies MacKinnon. The new drama will tell the story of widower Tom (
Timothy Spall) who, on the recent passing of his wife Mary (
Phyllis Logan), uses his free bus pass to travel the length of Britain from John O’Groats in Scotland to Land’s End in Cornwall, their shared birthplace, using only local buses. His encounters with local people make him a media phenomenon, though Tom is totally unaware of his growing fame.
Speaking of Timothy Spall, he is currently over at Malta shooting new comedy movie THE OBSCURE LIFE OF THE GRAND DUKE OF CORSICA in which he plays a cantankerous and brilliant architect, Alfred, who embarks on a highly unusual commission in Malta for a man who calls himself 'The Grand Duke Of Corsica' (Peter Stormare). An epidemic hits the Island and all must flee, but Alfred remains to finish the job.
