The story of the YA novel is set in a dark, mysterious forest where its ancient inhabitants, known as the Faeran, don’t trust the destructive, tree-cutting humans. Willa, the clan’s best forager and thief, has been taught to avoid humans at all costs. As Willa’s adventures offer her insight about mankind, she becomes a bridge between two competing worlds, but soon encounters conflict from all sides.

Emmerich produced feature film adaptation of Mozart’s THE MAGIC FLUTE directed by Florian Sigl! They will do special effects and character animation in the film set in today’s Europe: when 17-year old Tim Walker is sent from London to the Austrian Alps to start his singing scholarship at the legendary Mozart boarding school, he discovers a century old forgotten passageway into the fantastic world of THE MAGIC FLUTE. In the opera itself, the Queen of the Night persuades Prince Tamino to rescue her daughter Pamina from captivity under the high priest Sarastro; instead, he learns the high ideals of Sarastro's community and seeks to join it.
