Joe Barton will adapt Half Bad
The slate actually includes seven new shows to be produced in UK including one with Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean): short form, 10-part comedy series MAN VS BEE which finds him house sitting a luxurious mansion while duking it out with a pesky bee. Andy Serkis will, meanwhile, produce series adaptation of Sally Green's HALF BAD trilogy following Sixteen year old Nathan, the illegitimate son of the world’s most feared witch. He’s spent his whole life being monitored for signs he may follow the same destructive path as his father. But as tensions escalate, the old boundaries between “good” and “bad” fray and Nathan will discover what sort of person he truly is!
Sophie Petzal will adapt Turton's book
 
     THE SEVEN DEATHS OF EVELYN HARDCASTLE best selling novel by Stuart Turton will be turned into a seven episode series by Sophie Petzal: it is a mind bending murder mystery. All set within the grounds of a sprawling country estate, this high concept thriller presents an intriguing puzzle – how do you solve a murder when every time you are getting close to the answer, you wake up in someone else’s body?
