   EMILY BEECHAM TO LEAD
1899 PERIOD SET SERIES
Emily Beecham will board the steamship
But it will be a period set horror, I must emphasize. Netflix has cast Into the Badlands star Emily Beecham as the first name in the cast for their period set horror drama 1899 which will be shot in eight episodes. Although it will be an English language series, it will use other languages as well due to the plot, which revolves around a migrant steamship heading from London to New York a year before the 20th century. When the passengers discover another migrant boat adrift, their journey descends into horrifying nightmare! Baran Bo Odar and Jantje Friese, who created Dark series for Netflix, are behind this one as well. It will be a European show with a mixed cast from different countries. At its heart is the question of what unites us and what divides us. You will see Beecham first next to Emma Stone in Cruella origins movie which is going straight to Disney+ thanks to Covid.

  CHANNEL 5 TO ADAPT
THE HOLIDAY INTO MINI SERIES
Speaking of horrors, a horror of a different kind will be seen in Channel 5's four part mini series THE HOLIDAY to be made based on T. M. Logan's popular best seller! Michael Crompton is adapting the story
Michael Crompton will adapt The Holiday for Channel 5
about a woman who discovers her husband is having an affair on the first day of a holiday with their closest friends. The vacation soon becomes a nightmare as she suspects one of her friends of being involved in the tryst!

BBC TO TURN LIFE AFTER LIFE
INTO A FOUR PART TV SERIES
Rival BBC is, meanwhile, set to make their own four part TV series out of Kate Atkinson's novel LIFE AFTER LIFE which is set to shoot next spring telling the vivid story of the alternate lives of Ursula Todd, who dies one night
