If I am not mistaken, this is Pixar's first ever major animated movie with a gay boy as the lead character and isn't that a lovely change? The coming of age fantasy adventure LUCA is out in theatres and on Disney + June 18th and it
is a feature movie directorial debut of Enrico Casarosa. Since it is set in Italy, the original plan was for legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone to create the soundtrack, but he died and the film is now dedicated to him.

The voice cast features Jacob Tremblay as Luca Paguro, a 13 year old sea monster curious about the world above the sea. Jack Dylan Grazer as Alberto Scorfano, a teenage sea monster and Luca's best friend who is enthusiastic to explore the human world.
