MONARCH TV SERIES AT FOX
If you are missing Empire on Fox, they have another music dynasty coming to the small screen, but now a country one: Joshua Sasse has just joined their new series MONARCH which will start January 30th following
America’s first family of country music, the Romans, who are headed by the insanely talented, but tough as nails Queen of Country Music Dottie Cantrell Roman (Susan Sarandon). Along with her beloved husband, Albie (Trace Adkins), Dottie has created a country music dynasty. But even though the Roman name is synonymous with authenticity, the very foundation of their success is a lie. And when their reign as country royalty is put in jeopardy, heir to the crown Nicolette “Nicky” Roman (Anna Friel) will stop at nothing to protect her family’s legacy, while ensuring her own quest for stardom. Sasse will play Luke Roman, the smart, charming but insecure son of the Romans, as well as the CEO of the family’s business, Monarch Entertainment. Luke is close to his sisters Nicky and Gigi (Beth Ditto), and is the apple of his mother’s eye, but he has a troubled relationship with his father, whose approval he can never get, no matter how hard he tries.

Even though the summer is not yet over you might be wondering what will you watch in cinemas next Christmas, well new trailer and posters have been
released by Studiocanal for the big screen adaptation of Matt Haig's novel A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS which will arrive actually earlier than Christmas - November in selected theatres and over on Netflix! This is the story of Father Christmas, the tale of a young boy named Nikolas (Henry Lawfull) of snow and elves, starring Jim Broadbent, Michiel Huisman, Stephen Merchant, Toby Jones, Sally Hawkins and Dame Maggie Smith. What more could we want from a holiday movie? The story follows an ordinary young boy called Nikolas who sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the
fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Taking with him a headstrong reindeer Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny and learns that nothing is impossible… Most of the movie was shot in the real home of Santa Clause, Lapland in Findland.
