SANDITON SEASON 2
TRAILER HAS ARRIVED!
Ladies will really have a rich spring, with new seasons of Outlander and Bridgerton arriving in March, plus the hunks from Vikings: Valhalla in late February and then the second season of SANDITON landing at Britbox March 21st and a day before on PBS Masterpiece for the viewers in USA,
and all that seasoned with last night's news that HBO's Gilded Age costume saga has been renewed for a second season. Based on Jane Austen’s final
and incomplete novel, written only months before her death in 1817, it tells the story of impulsive, brash and ungratefully impolite Charlotte Heywood (Rose
Williams) and her quest to use rich people for her own gain. The series will also air on ITV for Brits and the third season has also been ordered.

THE NEW SEA SON PICKS UP
the action nine months later, as the town grows in popularity, and features characters familiar and new. Charlotte (Rose Williams) taking up the role of governess to Augusta Wilson (Eloise Webb), Alexander Colbourne’s ward and niece,
who at the age of 17 pushes against authority and soon gives Charlotte a run for her money. Charlotte’s spirited younger sister, Alison Heywood (Rosie Graham) comes to Sanditon to pursue her own romantic dream, and joined
by The Parkers, the second series promises new romances, friendships and challenges for the residents as the Army makes Sanditon their new base. The Parkers are back, as Tom Parker (Kris Marshall) strives to rebuild Sanditon.
But there are many unforeseen issues awaiting him, while the secrets and lies of the dysfunctional Denhams continue to rock the foundations of the sunny seaside town. And, in her last summer season before turning 21, Georgiana
Lambe (Crystal Clarke), keen to forge her own identity, gets up to mischief in the name of love… but will she run the risk of being lonelier than ever before? When it comes to the new hunks in town, we have Alexander
Colbourne (Ben Lloyd Hughes), a mysterious resident with a complex past, and also the self-assured war hero Colonel Francis Lennox (Tom Weston Jones). Charlotte’s spirited younger sister, Alison, will quickly find romance
in the shape of charming Captain William Carter (Maxim Ays). There is also the courageous Captain Declan Fraser (Frank Blake) and the flamboyant Charles Lockhart (Alexander Vlahos), who plans to paint the fashionable

Britbox has also released the first clip from their three part mini series WHY DIDN'T THEY ASK EVANS? Hugh Laurie’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s 1934 novel, which will launch exclusively on BritBox this Spring!
Starring Will Poulter as Bobby Jones, a young naval officer, and Lucy Boynton as Frankie Derwent, a prototype It Girl with a taste for adventure and good hats, the series also has cameo appearances by Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson.
