  THE WHEEL OF TIME
SECOND SEASON TEASER
While we have been enjoying all the epic delights Autumn brought us, from the mesmerisingly magnificent Rings of Power, fun and dynamic Serpent Queen, newly arrived The Empress and the upcoming return of Barbarians, we sort of forgot that the second season of THE WHEEL OF TIME epic series should arrive sometime soon as well. Not that the first season was overly memorable, if at all. But Prime Video has just released a second season teaser to remind us that it is coming back sometime next year. Good news is that there is eye candy in the teaser, mainly deliciously nekkid Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran who was, I admit, the sole reason I stuck with the dull first season till the end (not that I remember how it ended).

IN THE FIRST SEASON
The lives of five young villagers changed forever when a strange and powerful woman arrived, claiming one of them is the child of an ancient prophecy with the power to tip the balance between Light and Dark forever! They now have choose whether to trust this stranger – and each other – with the fate of the world before the Dark One breaks out of His prison, and the Last Battle begins

WHO JOINS THE CAST?
Beside some lavish armours and sets, the second season teaser also offers a look at two newcomers to the cast - Dónal Finn who replaces Barney Harris as Mat Cauthon, and Ceara Coveney as renegade princess Elayne Trakand. The second season will also introduce Seanchan, an army of magically empowered invaders! Since she lost her magic powers at the end of season 1, Rosamund Pike's mystic Moiraine will return to her hometown of Cairhien, a place of stifling traditions where everyone plays mind games, and in her despair will push away everyone who tries to help her, including her loyal Warder Lan, whose emotional connection to Moiraine has now been lost along with her magic. The whole group, which includes Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor,  and terribly cast Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, and Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, will now be split and separated across the continent. The series based on Robert Jordan's novels, already has third season ordered.
