Although this one was originally planned as an English language movie with Jake Gyllenhaal and Vanessa Kirby in the leading roles, they
eventually both dropped out and the project was retooled as a French language film. And it is probably for the better because French stars Gilles Lellouche and Melanie Thierry seem like such a better choice.

the best selling French language novel Soudain Seuls, this
survival movie drama directed by Thomas Bidegain, follows a couple that
must fight for survival after their boat is damaged in a sea storm and
they become stranded on a cold, deserted island which was supposed to be
their dream journey. The movie, which had a budget of over $20 million,
is currently playing in French ![]()
cinemas and will start opening in
Poland, Germany and other parts of Europe till the end of this month and
will move over to Russia in January.
